TOM: everything you need and more

At just 96 mm wide, the new TOM telescopic linear motor for swing gates combines all the technology and innovation needed to automate swing gates with panels from 3 to 5 metres long. It is available in 230 Vac, with or without encoder, and 24 Vdc versions. TOM features adjustable mechanical stops for opening and closing, patented FACE gears and a bronze release wheel with customised key. TOM is the perfect solution for residential contexts, thanks to its design choices focussed on simplifying installation and its adaptability. The 24 Vdc version, equipped with the new TRUST24 control unit, also guarantees standby power consumption of less than 0.8 W.

HIGH-QUALITY COMPONENTS
The release wheel is made of bronze to maximise its life, reliability and operation. The worm gear is protected by a wiper seal and a stainless steel shaft, making it suitable for use in dusty, sandy or harsh environments.

LINKING TOM TO THE TRUST24 CONTROL UNIT
The 24 Vdc control unit is ideal for controlling one or two swing gate operators. It is equipped with a built-in ESA+ system and can be used with KNX home automation systems using the X.BE card (optional). It features a display and built-in 433.92 Mhz receiver with 512 memorisable codes. The control unit can also be managed using the BeUP application for configuring, diagnosing and updating system firmware, thanks to the pro.UP accessory.

DIMENSIONS THAT MATTER
Thanks to its compact dimensions, just 96 mm wide, TOM adapts to any situation. The 45° inclination of the cable also means that the operator can be installed flush with the floor.

EASY ACCESS TO MECHANICAL STOPS
The adjustable stops at the top are accessible once the metal cover has been slid back. These stops slide on rails and can be easily fixed in the desired position using screws.

FASTENERS DESIGNED FOR MAXIMUM ADAPTABILITY
The rear articulation, which can be fixed in three positions, reduces space requirements by adjusting for any misalignment of the panel during movement. The alignment of the front and rear brackets also ensures better load distribution by reducing bending, guaranteeing axial thrust and optimising operator life.
